Neon Bubblegum - Trance State Disasters

Overview:

Since 2020, I have recoded and mixed albums under various musical aliases. The alias in this case is called Neon Bubblegum. The resulting album of nine tracks, Trance State Disasters, is an homage to a genre of German music of the 1970’s called Kosmische musik. In addition there are many references and nods to movie soundtracks from the 1980s.

In addition to creating the music, I also designed the album cover and illustrations and created various promotional materials for social media sites. With the overall visual design I wanted to create a surreal landscape that referenced a life lived in 1980’s video arcades soundtracked by the likes of John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream.
