ALEKS Adventure
ALEKS Adventure is an AI driven, adaptive math program for kindergarten through grade 3. Created for younger learners, ALEKS Adventure is a visually rich product that introduces math concepts through engaging stories. Students help characters solve problems, as they themselves become part of the story! As the design manager of the product, I spearheaded the art direction and visual design across grades, managed Agile-based processes and remote design teams across the United States and India as well as creating many production assets.
In addition, I designed Digit the Dog, ALEKS Adventure's canine mascot. Digit is a dog with a penchant for numbers and helping young learners. He travels with students through their math adventure, providing boosts of positivity along the way. I've included early designs of Digit and final model sheets below.

After launching grade 2, I was interviewed about my role as ALEKS Adventure's Interactive Design Manager on McGraw Hill's website. Paul Blair, Director of Digital Product Management and Andrew Rast, Math Director, are also interviewed. In the interview, you can learn more about the ALEKS Adventure product and how the various design and dev teams created this engaging learning experience for students from Kindergarten to Grade 3.
