UX

I have worked on various UX projects over the years, designing experiences that span K-12 school programs. I redesigned the UX for McGraw-Hill’s Open Learning K-5 experience from the ground up, using a mobile-first approach to reflow across devices and platforms. This groundwork extended across various subject matter including math and social studies. From creating button styles and states, to icons to screen layouts, I was instrumental in developing a robust design system that would work with all content. Our teams built the K-5 experience with accessibility in mind from the start with a “shift-left” approach, enabling a wide-spectrum of users to have access to rich content.

Other UX projects include the relaunch of Wonders adaptive, a popular reading program in which I redesigned the overall UX of the app. I also designed new authoring widgets to be used in conjunction with the content.
